Diameter: 442mm Tube-lining: Grey (although recorded as black in the pattern book) Lustres: Scarlet & orange Glaze: Off white Design Date: 1935 Backstamp: AGR2 Year of Manufacture: 1935-1939 Tube-liners Mark: RD-6 (Rose Dickenson) Paintress or Lustrers Marks: None Variation: A variation where the usual colours of the chain pattern are replaced with orange and scarlet lustres. Condition: There is a chip on the underside of the rim, repair to the footrim, and various firing flaws affecting the orange lustre. These were quite possibly manufacturing flaws.
